New Sponsor Announcement Leigh Day

LDN RIDERS partner with Leigh Day

LGBTQ+ cycling club LDN RIDERS announce partnership with Leigh Day

LDN RIDERS is proud to announce our first corporate sponsor, law firm Leigh Day.

We’ll be working closely with the firm’s cycling team to offer our Ride Captains British Cycling Level 1 and 2 Ride Leadership training* and support further diversification of club membership.

Leigh Day is proud to be involved with an inclusive club which promotes cycling at all levels. This is a fantastic opportunity to support and help grow a club from a grassroots level which has a real focus on making cycling more accessible and diverse.

LDN RIDERS has demonstrated an extraordinary ability to cater to an increasing membership base with regular cycle rides in and around London as well as overseas. The club’s focus on exciting, social and rewarding cycling experiences is so important to the cycling and LGBTQ+ communities.” - Philip Lee, solicitor in the cycling team at Leigh Day

We’re thrilled to have Leigh Day on board as a partner so early on in the club’s development. We look forward to working with a team that’s so passionate about cycling and grassroots sports to grow our community and ensure it’s a safe, welcome space for all.” - Julian Gregory, Founder, LDN RIDERS

Leigh Day’s personal injury department specialise in cycling injury claims and are the exclusive providers of legal services to members of British Cycling and the British Triathlon Federation. Many of those working on the cycling claims are very keen cyclists themselves and work with a number of charities and NGOs to campaign for safer conditions for cycling, including the More Than a Cyclist campaign. Leigh Day is also a member of the All-Party Parliamentary Cycling Group.

*  This course trains Ride Leaders to lead rides in more remote environments and challenging terrain, over longer distances more than 50miles. The award qualifies leaders to deliver guided bike rides for groups of intermediate and advanced level adults, providing them with an understanding of the processes involved with a longer and more challenging ride.

The course covers group riding etiquette, advanced communication, group management on longer rides and in challenging terrain, decision making and advanced risk management.
