Reporting Accidents and Incidents
Please use the below form to report all incidents and accidents so the club can monitor for trends and react to improve safety such as cancelling or changing routes and providing further training. This includes events that where parties came to no harm i.e. “near misses”.
Any person involved in the incident should report the event as this will likely contain the most accurate information. However, if that is not possible, then someone from the group needs to take responsibility for reporting the incident to the club so we can report it to British Cycling on your behalf. We would recommend the ride captain report any events if the affects individual(s) cannot.
The form should be completed as soon as possible (within 24 hours) to reflect the true events. Information should be entered factually / avoid opinions.
