Riding from London to Amsterdam for World Pride
At the end of July, more than 60 members of LDN RIDERS cycled from London to Amsterdam for the club’s annual charity bike ride.
Celebrating in style at our Amsterdam arrival rooftop party.
Three groups – some tackling the challenge in two days, some in three – undertook the challenge through the UK, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands – all meeting together to celebrate at World Pride. Culminating in rooftop drinks and BBQ celebration and a boat party to watch the parade on the Saturday - it was an incredible effort from all involved.
These events aren’t possible without the time and dedication of a brilliant team - thanks to Brent Mallows and James Tringham for leading the charge, and ride captains Brett Simblett, Wyn Lloyd Jones, Sander Beelaert, Stefan Romocki, Anatoli Stoyanov, Julian Gregory, and Ian Hall.
We are proud to be raising money for akt - the albert kennedy trust. akt are the only national charity dedicated to providing support for LGBTQ+ young people who are either at risk of homelessness of currently experiencing it.
